Eyal Cimet

Eyal grew up in Chicago and moved to Israel in 2001 through the Na’aleh high school exchange program. He made Aliyah in 2004, was accepted for an academic scholarship through the Psagot program in the IDF, completed a double major in Electrical Engineering and Physics at the Technion, and served as a hardware engineer in the Israeli intelligence community for 8 years. After finishing his military service, Eyal moved back to the US to join Tesla’s autopilot and infotainment hardware team where he worked on the original Model 3. He then joined Waymo, where he currently leads the electrical engineering team for Waymo’s Compute hardware. Eyal lives in San Ramon with his wife Romina (whom he met in the Na’aleh program), and two children (12 and 10), and is passionate about volunteering and giving back to the community. He enjoys weightlifting, cycling, woodworking, music and cooking.
