Orrin Franko is an orthopedic hand surgeon and active member of the Contra Costa Jewish community. He lives in Danville with his wife, Katie, and their three sons.  

Orrin grew up in the Los Angeles Jewish community and attended Camp Ramah in Ojai, an experience that helped shape his connection to Jewish life, community, and tradition. Today, he and his family are active participants in Jewish life in the East Bay, and his children attend Contra Costa Jewish Day School. 

Professionally, Orrin is a practicing orthopedic hand surgeon in San Leandro, CA. He brings to the JCC Board a particular interest in strengthening Jewish community, creating meaningful opportunities for families to connect, and helping ensure that the JCC remains a welcoming and vibrant gathering place for generations to come. 

Outside of work and community involvement, Orrin enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and adventures with his family.
