Author Harry Freedman will discuss the remarkable history of Venice’s Jews and the Jewish Ghetto in which they lived. The Ghetto is the corner of the city where Jews were exiled, free to walk the streets by day, but locked behind gates each night. Freedman is Britain’s leading author of books about Jewish culture and history and lives in London.
