Jewish Community Center Movement
Supporting Jewish Life for More than a Century

Our story is still unfolding. As our community grows, we continue building programs and resources that reflect what people need today: warmth, belonging, and a place to be part of something meaningful.

JCCs have always been hubs for culture, learning, and connection, serving as bridges across backgrounds, practices, and generations. Contra Costa JCC continues this legacy in our own community. What began as a grassroots effort to create more connection in the East Bay has grown into a vibrant home for Jewish engagement. We have evolved to support families, newcomers, young professionals, and long-time residents who want to feel anchored in Jewish life.
Our Method
Our Approach is Simple:
Meet people where they are and create many paths into Jewish life

Connection
through events, gatherings, and community-led programs

Support

Learning
